STEN MK 2

  • Is this cool or is this cool?

An airsoft all metal electric full-auto STEN MK 2. Amazon had it discounted for $138 due to a damaged box, normally $189. It arrived yesterday and I had a quick opportunity to test it this morning. I put 4 mags through it at 5 yards and the grouping was impressive. There is no selector switch for semi-auto but the rate of fire allows for a single shot if you're quick on the trigger. Also, there is no safety so once you are hooked up to the 8.4v battery, the gun is charged and ready to go when the mag is in place.

The battery...yeah, the battery. Not so easy to hook up. It "fits" in the stock tube but barely. A real tight fit.

The charging handle does nothing and can be locked in place anywhere along the receiver.

It's difficult to aim but probably designed more for spraying. It does shoot a little to the left and down about the 7 o'clock position. My last group was a soda can and no BBs came out the back.

The mag holds 55 BBs and dispenses them in only a few seconds. Good thing I bought a container of 10,000.

A fun gun and addition to my collection.

I saw a Sten MK5 green gas version on line that looks AWESOME, but big buck$. Someone stop me! Please! Oh, hell, I go in for hernia surgery tomorrow, so maybe if I survive, I should treat myself.😅

  • @William Brooks

First of all good luck with your surgery
that is the most important thing and something can be done about it.
Your urge to collect, unfortunately there is nothing you can do about it you are addicted and that is nothing more nor less.
Look at it this way, if your surgery is successful, then you have certainly earned something
and you can certainly go to the candy store
But first your surgery I wish you all the best.
    Greetings Frank.

(If you are cured you can empty your pot of 10,000 in one go)
