Fantastic!

Third Schofield I've gotten, fantastic as the aged and gun metal. Good weight, good feel, accuracy decent up to 20 feet. Love how the shells have the grey tips, look just like a lead bullet. No issues just like the others.

The Barra Schofield CO2 pistol is a must have

I have a real 45 caliber 7" Schofield owned originally by a Texas Ranger. It had hard use obviously used as a hammer or a club but it functions well and is accurate. When I hold it in one hand and my Barra Schofield in the other it is hard to tell the difference. The Barra Schofield is a hefty strong pistol and the attention to detail is outstanding, The finish is superb. I was so pleased with my first 7" that I got another 7" and 5" in the other two finishes. I also got ivory grips to put on my gun metal 7" and it is glorious. The Barra Schofield is also accurate and powerful.I recommend getting several packets of pellet cartridges to enhance both. They are not easy to get but worth having. Our home is in the country in Platte County,Mo where the James brothers roamed. Our bird ground seeding and bird houses where being ravaged by a large racoon. I loaded one of my 7" Barra Schofields with 10.5 gr magnum pellets and with one head shot it went down as if I used a 22. No pistol of the post Civil War era has a more interesting and lush history. You could write a book about a Schofield pistol. Outlaws like Billy The Kid and the James Brothers. Lawmen like Wyatt Earp who used one at the OK Corral. Buffalo Bill had one and gave a 5" presentation model to Anne Oakley as a thank you. The czar of Russia chose it as the pistol for all his officers and ordered so many that it was hard to get them in this country for some time. It was the pistol of choice by the Australian outback patrol and they had a stock that could be attached so it could be used as a rifle. Its specific use and mention in the cinema. In the recent version of 3:10 to Yuma Russel Crowe askes one of his men and in so many words says "bet you can't wait to use those Schofields of yours". Lastly, Jesse James was killed by Bob Ford in St Joseph,Mo not far from my home and Major George Schofield took his own life with a 5" Schofield . If you are adding to your collection of CO2 pistols or buying your first a Barra Schofield should be at the top of your list. You can buy a Barra Schofield pistol and everything else needed for a fraction of the price of a real one and it won't bother your neighbors when you fire it. You will be holding a piece of history in your hand.
