Frequently Asked Questions
Find out what sets the 400e apart from other full-auto electric BB air rifles
Is the 400e available in different materials or builds?
Yes! The 400e is offered in both a Polymer and a Metal version. The Polymer model is lightweight and durable, while the Metal version has aluminum exterior components that give it a more realistic, AR-style look and feel. Most other electric BB rifles only offer a polymer build.
What makes the 400e's battery setup stand out?
The 400e is powered by a high-capacity 11.1V LiPo battery that delivers extended shooting time. We intentionally designed the rifle to support a larger battery, allowing more shots per charge compared to many other models.
Does the 400e have an ambidextrous safety?
Yes, the 400e features an ambidextrous safety selector, making it accessible and convenient for both left and right handed shooters. This design detail enhances usability and comfort for all users.
How does the 400e’s magazine capacity compare?
The 400e includes a 50-round magazine, allowing for longer shooting sessions with fewer reloads.
Are replacement parts available for the 400e?
Absolutely. One of the standout features of owning a 400e is access to a wide selection of replacement parts and accessories, all available on our website. We're committed to long-term customer support, so whether you need a new magazine, suppressor, buffer tube, stock, gearbox, or other internal component, we've got you covered.
Has the 400e improved since it first launched?
Yes, the 400e is now in its second generation. Gen 2 brings upgrades like improved velocity consistency, a stronger buffer tube, and an enhanced feeding system. These updates came directly from user feedback and are part of our commitment to constant innovation.
What’s different about the 400e’s BB speed loader?
Our BB speed loader is a cut above the rest. It features a metal plunger, unlike some others that rely on an all-plastic design. We’ve made several updates to its design over time to improve durability and ease of use.
Why choose the 400e over other full-auto electric BB rifles?
The 400e stands out because it’s not just about performance, it’s about the complete ownership experience. From the very beginning, Barra Airguns has led the way in full-auto electric BB rifle innovation, and with the launch of our Gen 2 model, we’ve doubled down on quality, reliability, and real-world user feedback.
Here’s what sets the 400e apart:
- More Options: Choose between a rugged Polymer build or an upgraded Metal version with aluminum components for a more realistic look and feel.
- More Shots Per Charge: We include a larger-capacity LiPo battery to keep you shooting longer between charges.
- Better Build Quality: We've focused on long-term product durability and premium user experience.
