The 1866 has a special place in our story as it was the first rifle that bore the Barra brand. Over the years, we’ve improved on our original design to make a reliable, lever-action shooter that performs and also has a bit of style and grit.
OPERATION The 1866 is built on the same multi-pump pneumatic power plant as The 900. The arm can be pumped 1 to 10 times to reach a maximum velocity of 800 FPS making it capable of long range target practice or short range, small game hunting.
MATERIALS The 1866 is made of a thick wall ABS plastic stock with a wood grain texture. It has the appearance of wood but maintains the advantages of a fully synthetic stock. An electroplating process is applied to the butt plate and receiver to create the classic gold finish.
STYLE The 1866 was inspired by the classic, lever-action repeaters of the American West. It’s a cowboy air rifle, plain and simple. It features a cast iron pump arm designed to perfectly resemble these legendary lever action firearms.

BARRA IN THE WILD
The first 1866 BB gun we ordered had a little issue, so we contacted the service department. They are top notch, went above and beyond to fix the issue. This BB gun was a Christmas gift for our son. It is both beautiful to look at and delivers a powered BB straight through soda cans, water bottles, plastic jugs, etc. Do not regret purchasing this BB gun, and will buy from them for a future purchase! Thank you for a great product and wonderful customer service response!
Great rifle. Shoots straight and great customer service when you need any help.
I love the detail and style,it’s relatively accurate too for a pellet gun
I got this gun a couple months ago,it’s amazing and extremely accurate, it’s also beautiful I love the detail and the gold contrast with the wood grain
I brought this cowboy repeater last night. When I unbox it in I love the way it look and the style. But it was a little difficult at first to figure it out. But good there was a instruction. Plus the way it look its the reason why I bought it old school style.
