Description

The 1866 has a special place in our story as it was the first rifle that bore the Barra brand. Over the years, we’ve improved on our original design to make a reliable, lever-action shooter that performs and also has a bit of style and grit.

OPERATION The 1866 is built on the same multi-pump pneumatic power plant as The 900. The arm can be pumped 1 to 10 times to reach a maximum velocity of 800 FPS making it capable of long range target practice or short range, small game hunting.

MATERIALS The 1866 is made of a thick wall ABS plastic stock with a wood grain texture. It has the appearance of wood but maintains the advantages of a fully synthetic stock. An electroplating process is applied to the butt plate and receiver to create the classic gold finish.

STYLE The 1866 was inspired by the classic, lever-action repeaters of the American West. It’s a cowboy air rifle, plain and simple. It features a cast iron pump arm designed to perfectly resemble these legendary lever action firearms.

This is a great air gun for the price. Very powerful and a sleek rifle look. Good feel in the hands, easy lever action pump. Very pleased with this purchase.

Great air gun for a great price

It looks really good for what it is. I thought it was just an pellet rifle but i found out it took bb's that's a bonus. Great gun for a great price.

Poor Quality Control, Walmart is the real problem.

I can’t even leave an honest review, character max? Apparently you have to conform to complain, ridiculous. Anyway, I’ll send my 6500 word review up the chain and write some petty BS in the meantime. Poor quality control. Bought it for my stepdad and I to do some pest control and casual plinking. One shot, and the barrel cracked and won’t hold air pressure anymore. Yes, we read the manual, and we were operating it properly and with respect. Same way all firearms should be handled. Walmart won’t return it because (insert scream here,) ITS A GUN! I left it there, they wouldn’t return it, but it’s fine for them to steal from their customers. Corporate America at its finest. Its about more than money, hard earned money. I’ve sent my full review to Barra Airguns, and Walmart Corporate. I just wish the world wasn’t this crappy. I thought customers were a legitimate asset to business, but Walmart has shown me otherwise. I hope Barra Airguns steps up and does something about this. Hell, fight Walmart with me, because this is wrong on a moral level. If anyone is curious and wants to read my review, please reach out to me. [****]

Thank you.
