BARRA IN THE WILD
I have been collecting full metal replica airguns for a good while. By no means an expert but shoot 4-5 times a week. My latest purchase was the 5 Inch barrel Scofield co2. I have about 4 different models all different ( Remington 1875 Army 6) , Ace in the hole "Duke J. Wanyne)Wayne. I wanted a good variety for the Legends pieces of history. I have to say with out question this Scofield is amazingly accurate, has a nice little recoil and the feel of it compared to the others is hands down the best. Overall construction is very tight (very little wiggle to the pistoland its parts.) I have 2 othe Barra pistols a 1911 tac and the full/semi auto Glock clone. All of them just seem to be made extremely well manufactured with very tight machined tolerances. This is what makes the really stand out as a step above similarly priced pistols with a bigger name. The Scofield shoots consistently accurate from 15ft or 25ft. And with only a 5 inch barrel was killing guns with longer barrels 7inch,& even a 13inch. The power is consistent and despite having 2 sets of shells, 1 for bb & 1for pellets I found the shells in the gun shot both no problem(still recommend using the different ammo for pistol longevity) I have to say I was reminded of one of the greatest Western movie of all times "Unforgiven" when Clint Eastwood finsd his best friend Ned (Morgan Freeman) was used to decorate the saloon in town. He turns to his young partner and says" Hey kid give me your Schofied" He then bri gs the wrath apon the wrong doers. It is without doubt a must have for any collection. Whether just starting or building a diverse collection. It is a complete trip back in time when the west was lawless and not just a ton of fun to shoot but one of the best replicas out there and easily under priced. I would have happily paid close to $200 ......luckily it's a complete steal at $125-$135. Excellent shot count as well. One of my favorite pistols hands down. You will not be disappointed.
This is an excellent CO2 revolver (Western CO2revolver - Cowboy Series) that replicates the feel and handle of a real gun. It is excellent for practice shooting and can improve your aim with an actual revolver gun. Would definitely recommend it for anyone that is looking to improve your aim.
The weight feels good and easy reload. Looks amazing and fits an old holster I had laying around.
I BOUGHT THE SCHOFIELD PISTOL WITH THE 7 INCH BARREL AND WAS VERY PLEASED WITH IT SO NOW I JUST RECEIVED THE DARK FINISH IN THE 5 INCH BARREL ,
BOTH PISTOLS ARE FANTASIIC FOR PLINKING AND TARGET SHOOTING. MY WIFE LOVES THE 5 INCH BARREL VERSION VERY MUCH .
This thing is pretty cool. I really enjoy the feel and the finish. Handling it is very similar to real firearm. The only downside is, I wish it came with dual ammo cartridges. I would like to shoot pellets and darts. You can buy them in addition to but, they are (as of this review) unavailable anywhere. I don't care that I have to pay a little extra for them but, a little annoying I can't even order them from anyone.
